One Vision; Twelve Distinct Culinary Concepts

Over the years, Chef Dumebi has developed a growing portfolio of restaurant and food concepts, each designed to serve a different audience while sharing the same commitment to thoughtful hospitality, bold flavour and commercially sound concept development.
From neighbourhood dining and artisan baking to contemporary African cuisine and plant-based concepts, every brand reflects a different way of bringing people together through food.

The Brand House
Bistrot Samantha is Chef Dumebi’s experience-led bistro and the physical home of the wider culinary portfolio. It brings African soul, global technique and generous hospitality together through brunches, chef’s tables, seasonal menus, tasting events and collaborations.
Rather than operating as a conventional high-volume restaurant, it is designed as a flexible platform where food, culture, community, storytelling and new brand ideas come alive.

Brioche Bakery Lagos is a modern bakery and café built around rich doughs, artisan breads, pastries, all-day breakfast and coffee.
The brand combines premium bakery craft with familiar, playful flavours, offering both sweet and savoury products that work for individual treats, breakfast, gifting, office orders and celebrations. Its range includes brioche rolls, cinnamon rolls, croissants, doughnuts, sandwiches, salads and seasonal bakes.

Chukwudumebi’s is a bold Nigerian food brand centred on deeply flavoured, spicy and satisfying dishes that feel familiar without being ordinary.
It celebrates local ingredients, proper pepper, rich sauces and the everyday meals Nigerians return to, while allowing Chef Dumebi’s systems-led approach to create new menu expressions. The brand is especially suited to rice dishes, stews, soups, proteins and signature uses of irú.

The Village Grille is a fire-led food concept inspired by Nigerian grilling culture, roadside flavour and the communal energy of food cooked over heat.
It focuses on suya, kebabs, wings, grilled meats, shawarma bowls and seasonal marinades, translating familiar village and street-food cues into a clean, contemporary brand. The menu is bold, smoky, highly shareable and designed for delivery, gatherings and outdoor experiences.

Puff Puff Gourmet takes one of West Africa’s most loved small treats and turns it into a playful, giftable and highly adaptable dessert brand.
The concept moves beyond plain puff-puff through filled, glazed, coated and savoury variations, while keeping the product warm, generous and recognisable. It works equally well for individual portions, sharing boxes, parties, corporate gifting, weddings and brand collaborations.

L’oignon is an Afro-French comfort-food brand built around the idea that onions, slow cooking and good technique can create extraordinary depth.
It brings French bistro methods into conversation with West African ingredients and memory through savoury crêpes, braises, sauces, gratins and vegetable-led dishes. The approach is translation rather than fusion: familiar techniques are used to reveal new possibilities in African food.

Sam’s Crème is a cheerful dessert concept serving ice cream, waffles, crêpes and creamy treats with both classic and West African-inspired flavours.
It is designed around comfort, play and customisation, with room for dairy and plant-based bases, toppings, sauces and seasonal specials. The brand can operate as a dessert counter, delivery concept, event station or add-on to the wider Bistrot Samantha experience.

Sam’s Poulet is a focused fried-chicken brand created around crisp coating, juicy chicken and bold sauces.
Its strength is simplicity: a small, repeatable menu of chicken pieces, tenders, wings, sandwiches and sides that can be produced consistently and marketed through a strong weekly ritual such as Fried Chicken Fridays. The brand is fun, direct, delivery-friendly and built for cravings.

Gourmet Vegan Kitchen is a plant-based food brand that treats West African ingredients as complete cuisine rather than substitutes for meat.
It uses mushrooms, beans, yam, plantain, vegetables, tofu and carefully built bases to create satisfying bowls, stews and comfort dishes with real depth. The cooking is generous, flavour-led and rooted in Chef Dumebi’s approach to irú, mushroom salt and the power of the base.

The Bread Shop is the approachable, everyday bakery and breakfast arm of the portfolio.
It focuses on fresh bread, familiar bakes, breakfast items and affordable sweet treats that customers can buy regularly rather than only for special occasions. The offer is practical, comforting and suited to morning trade, neighbourhood delivery, family purchases and office orders.

Chef Dumebi Burger Bar is a chef-led burger concept built around flavourful proteins, generous toppings and a wide range of burger combinations.
It allows familiar burger formats to carry Nigerian and global flavours through pulled chicken, pulled beef, suya spice, pepper sauces, slaws and signature condiments. The brand is casual, energetic and ideal for delivery, limited drops and collaborative menus.

Wok House Bistrot is a fast, flavour-driven Asian street-food concept serving wok-tossed noodles, fried rice, skewers and bowls.
It combines the speed and theatre of wok cooking with approachable sauces, vegetables and proteins, creating food that travels well and works for lunch, dinner and late-evening cravings. The brand should feel urban, energetic and contemporary while retaining the warmth and generosity of the wider portfolio.

Still Growing, Still Creating.
The Brand House continues to evolve with new restaurant concepts, bakery ideas, hospitality ventures and culinary experiences inspired by African food culture and the changing ways people gather.
While each concept has its own identity, together they represent a larger vision:
To build hospitality brands that celebrate African cuisine, create meaningful guest experiences and contribute to the future of hospitality across the continent and beyond.
